Re:Walmart shoppers! Date Posted:11/26/2018 3:27 AMCopy HTML What concerned me more than Walmart (willing seller, willing buyers) was the Healthcare and University dominance of the rest of the map.
Of course that misses the point of low wages for one percent of our population.
I’m an online shopper and Amazon is my favorite:
Amazon now employs 566,000 people worldwide — a 66 percent jump from a year ago. The number of people working for Amazon continues to go way, way up as the Seattle-based tech giant reached 566,000 employees worldwide during the fourth quarter of 2017 — an addition of 24,100 people in that timeframe.

Re:Walmart shoppers! Date Posted:11/28/2018 4:32 AMCopy HTML Take a look at this map. What’s the first thing that catches your eye? That the government has it's fingers into far too much of the national economy. Come to the Dark Side.

The advantage of insinuations over hard arguments is that they bypass critical thought. No one can respond precisely to a charge that is utterly vague or to accusers who will envelope any reply in a poisonous fog of further insinuations. ~ David Warren, The Guardian
There was a time when there was enough freedom that it hardly mattered which brand of crooks ran government. That has not been true for a long time and that captures an important point. The more powerful the government becomes, the more people are willing to do in order to seize the prize, and the more afraid they become when someone else has control. ~ Glenn Harlan Reynolds
“The urge to save humanity is almost always only a false-face for the urge to rule it. Power is what all messiahs really seek: not the chance to serve.”
― H.L. Mencken

Re:Walmart shoppers! Date Posted:11/29/2018 10:17 PMCopy HTML Yes, I agree, and it’s no massage, but they mean well.
They let a lot slide by that should be taken up, vigorously debated, and done for the good of the country. They’re not getting much direction from the people when only 25% vote, so they are fairly free to do as they please while accepting all the elite attention.
